Yian J. Mojica Vargas
Purpose Over Pressure
Yian Mojica Vargas was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, at Hermanos Meléndez Hospital. He is the son of Iván Mojica and Geisha Vargas and has one sister, Naiyelis Mojica. He currently resides in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico.
From a very young age, Yian stood out as a bright and organized child with a strong curiosity for learning. He enjoyed discovering letters and numbers through play, and educational programs such as Atención Atención played an important role in his early development. He has always taken pride in doing things the right way and maintaining strong academic performance.
Baseball has been a fundamental part of Yian’s life since childhood. At 14 years old, he is a student at PRBAHS in Gurabo and competes primarily as a Left Fielder and Second Baseman. He is known for his dedication, work ethic, and commitment both on and off the field.
Yian’s goal is to earn a Division I college opportunity and achieve his dream of signing professionally. He understands that the path will not always be easy, but regardless of the challenges, he remains determined to keep working with discipline, effort, and faith to accomplish every goal he sets for himself in life.
